The Community Program Manager works closely with the Compass Affordable Housing (CAH) Senior Team and other Program Managers. This position ensures compliance with CAH directives, applicable grantor/funder program requirements, and contract deliverables and supervises the daily activities of our Community Housing team.Job Duties:Oversee program activities in accordance with the mission, policies, and goals of CAH.Ensure budgets and contract requirements meet monthly and annual projections.Ensure program goals are met in accordance with contract requirements, including customer satisfaction, safety, effectiveness, quality, and staff performance.Work with the senior team to manage budgets, review program goals and objectives, implement changes, and make necessary adjustments when needed.Manage Community Housing team members, including scheduling, timesheet approval, staff paperwork, training, program assessments, and performance reviews.Review all program-related expenses and ensure all check requests are accurate and submitted on time.Work with staff to capture, analyze, and input data to prepare accurate reporting.Oversee daily staff and volunteer performance and provide ongoing training.Implement intensive case management services. Ensure that staff is providing services effectively, appropriately, equitably, and inclusively to all participant households.Manage participant financial records and the timely payment of rent, utilities, and other contracted financial assistance to program participants.Coordinate participant referrals in the Pima County Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) and manage referrals to meet all contract goals.Accurately manage HMIS-related data, reporting, and other activities to meet specific deadlines.Work with CAH staff to prepare for and coordinate all contract and funding compliance monitors.Conduct regular file audits to ensure compliance with programmatic and contract requirements, including participant's attendance, referrals, household budget, life skills, case notes, follow-up, etc.Monitor and ensure compliance with contract performance, including participant employment status and progress.Obtain, implement, and monitor Community Housing match contributions.Oversee educational event presentations that benefit Community Housing participants, help meet program goals, and foster collaborative relationships with local service providers to strengthen referral networks.Attend and support staff during re-engagement, crises, and potential client conflict meetings.The Program Manager will maintain at least one active Community Housing participant.Additional duties as necessary to assist with operating and managing the CAH programs.Application Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related field OR four (4) years of related experience.Two (2) years' experience in a non-profit setting.Detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills.Ability to take the initiative and manage time to complete work accurately.Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with and support existing and potential program participants. Enthusiasm is required to work with people needing help.Experience supervising program staff and volunteers. Be a team player who is flexible, open-minded, enthusiastic, and accepting of diversity. Be committed to team building, learning best practices, and CAH-led education.Exhibit professional communication skills and the ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with diverse agencies and organizations.Data and reporting experience, program management, goal setting, and evaluation experience.The candidate must be computer literate, utilize Microsoft Office Word and Excel, and navigate efficiently through multiple in-house programs, Google Documents, Google Drive, Google Mail, and shared drives.Experience with the Internet, online research, email, and electronic work is necessary.Have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance.Willing to be supervised and to communicate regularly with supervisor and staff.Must be able to obtain fingerprint clearance card without restrictions (and maintain during employment).Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.Must work with integrity and uphold the CAH work ethic.Prior experience is preferred.
