About the Program: Jamaica Community Partnership organizes local public and private stakeholders; builds their capacity to support and stabilize families; and engages them with ACS and other City agencies through coordinated service referral, community-led programs, community awareness efforts, and informing City policy and practice related to child and family well-being.
Job Summary: The community organizer will perform work involving planning, implementation, coordination and monitoring of community initiatives. The Community Coordinator will actively create and sustain partnerships and seek service linkages and communication with intergovernmental agencies and community-based organizations.
ResponsibilitiesAbility to travel within and around the community. Driver's license (preferred) to utilize mobile resource vehicle.
Physical RequirementsAbility to lift 50 pounds.
