• Prior experience as camp counselor or relevant role
• Experience working with children

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Substitute counselor, junior counselor, section leader and/or chaperone will assist in the constant supervision of the campers, maintaining their safety, and helping run activities. This position will also assist in keeping the group on schedule and attend all group activities scheduled for that day. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Monitor safety and security of group of campers
• Assist with camp activities
• Attend camp trips/assemblies if applicable
• Any additional tasks as assigned by camp staff
• Attend paid staff orientation meeting & family meet & greet prior to the start of camp
