Position Type: COMMUNITY SCHOOL/Community School Supervisor (Before/After Care)Date Posted: 7/3/2024Location: TBDDate Available: 09/03/2024Closing Date: 05/30/2025 POSITION: Community School Supervisor Before/After Care for the 24/25 School Year (Multiple Openings) LOCATION: District wide AVAILABLE: 2024-2025 School Year COMPENSATION: $29.22 p/hr Part-time/No benefits HOURS: 6:55 am - 8:55 am and/or 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm DESCRIPTION: Supervise the overall operation of the Child Care Program. Provide leadership and direction to childcare staff. Plans and directs activities, provides instruction and care for children in a wide variety of duties in support of the Child Care Program within the program space, gym, library, and playground, directed by the Coordinators. Must be aware and conform to all state and local regulations. Prepare and/or submit all paperwork as directed by the Coordinator. Must work as a team member and exercise good judgement, prioritize tasks and communicate effectively with team members. Candidates must have patience and enjoy working with children. Must be able to stand for periods of time. Prior experience working with children is required. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree from accredited four-year college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary or secondary education or the human services field. Attach copy of college transcripts. Sitting, standing for long periods, bending, lifting, walking and be able to work outside in various weather conditions.
