Responsible for oversight of community programs and activities designed to support older adults and Medicarebeneficiaries of all ages within a 10-county region including supervision of staff responsible for coordination of client services. Managing community outreach and events and preparing public relations materials. Adhering to program budgets and ensuring proper use of public funds and donations. Establishing and maintaining partnerships to meet community needs. Seeking funding opportunities and coordinating application submissions. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, outstanding organizational and computer skills, experience with record management systems, knowledge of community programs and familiarity with community needs. Candidates must be able to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with internal/external contacts and partners and work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Must have a bachelor's degree in social services or related field and experience supervising others.
