Required:

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* 3 years of general clerical experience

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, and skill to quickly learn other applications

* Communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing

* Interact positively and respectfully with target groups, team members, community partners, vendors, and the general public

* Maintain client and organizational confidentiality

* Work independently and as part of a team

* Work in a generally regulated environment with regular review by supervisor

* Work with sensitive client situations in a non-threatening, empathetic and professional manner

* Experience in performing data entry with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy

* Knowledge of office procedures, machines and processes

* Plan and carry out assignments to meet objectives, deadlines and targets

* Prior to date of hire and throughout employment:

a) Valid driver's license

b) Proof of current auto insurance

c) Access to reliable transportation

d) Satisfactory criminal background check

Summary:

Supports the team in a variety of tasks and projects. Their skills and professionalism enhance the efficiency and accuracy of each department through quick and thorough completion of assigned duties and special projects.

Duties Include:

* Answer telephone calls, provide basic messaging and relay accurate messages

* Provide voicemail messages to appropriate team members for return phone calls

* Provide information and referrals via telephone, email or in person

* Provide general office support, including filing, making copies, and distributing received faxes to the appropriate team members

* Maintain office equipment

* Greet each person visitor, determine what assistance they are seeking and refer to program team members

* Retrieve, open, sort, and distribute mail received

* Providing mailing services for all teams, including accurate tracking expenditure of mailing costs

* Assist with special projects and events

* Coordinate and prepare for various meetings and trainings including emailing agenda information, copying handouts, keeping minutes, arranging refreshments and cleaning up

* Attend team meetings and events as required

* Take direction from multiple staff members

* Prioritize multiple projects and duties

* Detail oriented
