If this sounds like you, then read on....Job Summary: The Community & Supportive Services Coordinator (CSSC) is responsible for developing and implementing supportive service programs that address social and recreational needs in fulfillment of Ingerman Management Company's mission of establishing a sense of community and promoting an enhanced quality of living for our residents. This is done by assessing residents' needs and making appropriate referrals and acting as a liaison with service provider agencies, local governments and businesses. Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the implementation of supportive service plans and the delivery of needed and appropriate services at all assigned properties.
  • Identify, develop and maintain networks of existing community based supportive and social service agencies for all assigned properties.
  • Develop a resource directory of providers for us by both management staff and residents.
  • Provide general case management (including intake) and referral services to all residents needing assistance. Refer and link residents to service providers and agencies in the general community. Such organizations will provide services which may include, but are not limited to: job readiness, training and employment; preventative health screenings; budget counseling & money management; parenting skills and childcare alternatives; educational opportunities; leadership development; socialization opportunities, nutrition programs and access to and other family and senior services.
  • Prepare reports on supportive service activities and serve as a liaison with non-profit partners, the State's Housing Finance Agency, and other governmental/reporting agencies as required.
  • Promote on-site educational events which may include subjects relating to health care, job search seminars (job fairs), and life skills training.
  • Work closely with management staff to coordinate training of residents in understanding resident and management responsibilities particularly with respect to obligations of tenancy.
  • Set up volunteer support programs with service provider organizations in the community.
  • Improve knowledge and skills through participation in training sessions, annual service coordinator meetings, staff meetings and other professional development opportunities.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
RequirementsRequirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years of human service experience

#LPSalary Description $45,000 - $47,500 annually, plus bonus potential
