Community Wellness Specialist - King's Daughters Medical Center : Job Details

Organizes and executes community programs in conjunction with the Community Health Needs Assessment that further KDMC s Mission and Vision of measurably improving the health of the community. Serves as the lead Community Services wellness educator in planning, developing, and teaching community health and wellness classes, screenings and other related activities. DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Trains volunteers on educational and/or health screening equipment and completes competency validations for each volunteer. Assures that all volunteers are trained and validated for assigned duties before event when possible. Overall performance rating of below indicated essential job duties: Serves as leader at events, handling all aspects of event as assigned including free and Fair Market Value Screenings, including but not limited to vascular screening. Organizes and coordinates events and activities both on and off campus as scheduled.
