Compassionate Care Provider - Home Instead Senior Care : Job Details

Join our dedicated team at Home Instead, where we are seeking compassionate and nurturing individuals to become Care Providers. Our mission is to enhance the lives of aging adults in our community by offering essential non-medical services that help them maintain their independence and dignity at home.

We are excited to offer a Hire-On Bonus! Starting wages range from $16.00 to $16.50 per hour, with higher rates for overnight and weekend shifts starting at $19/hour. We have immediate openings for various shifts and are looking for individuals willing to travel 50 or more miles.

We currently have shifts available in the following areas: Avon, Tyndall, Tripp, Armour, and Lake Andes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing companionship and engaging conversation
• Performing light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Offering medication reminders and assisting with appointments
• Helping with personal care tasks
• Providing care for clients with Alzheimer's

No prior experience is necessary as we provide comprehensive skills training. We are looking for individuals who:

• Can treat clients and their property with dignity and respect
• Communicate in a friendly and congenial manner
• Are willing to undergo a criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screening
