Position: Part-Time, Weekend Availability RequiredFlexible HoursWe are seeking dedicated and compassionate caregivers to provide in-home and community-based support for a vibrant, engaging young man with cerebral palsy and low vision. The client uses a power wheelchair for mobility and requires assistance with daily activities to ensure his comfort and well-being.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with all activities of daily living (ADLs), including transfers to and from wheelchair, toileting, bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Support the client in attending appointments and participating in community activities.
- Provide companionship and ensure the client's emotional and physical safety at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 year of caregiving experience, including providing assistance with ADLs.
- Ability to pass state and criminal background checks.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- COVID-19 vaccinated and boosted.
- Must live within a 30-minute commute of the Ambler-Fort Washington area or have reliable transportation.
- Weekend availability and flexible hours are required.
