Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Conducts and reviews analysis to provide pay recommendations to hiring managers for pay exception requests. Escalates requests as needed.
- Participates in industry, geographic, and other relevant wage surveys. Analyzes and utilizes survey data as well as internal job descriptions to evaluate internal positions.
- Evaluates positions and conducts market analysis to prepare data for review.
- Provides administrative and analytical support for performance management and salary planning.
- Pulls compensation-related queries and ad-hoc reports as requested from the business.
- Responsible for updating pay plan documents for compensation guidelines as well as fixed compensation programs.
- Participates in compensation activities to support the completion of strategic plan initiatives.
- Gathers information to create offer letters and completes corporate hiring process steps in Partner Central. Provides documentation to various departments to request the completion of background and drug tests, onboarding, security access, etc.
- Drafts reports, correspondence, memos, and other compensation-related materials; arranges format and content for effective presentation of information.
- Assists in updating and editing Company pay plans as necessary.
- May serve as the compensation point of contact for various projects.
- Serves as a resource for various tasks related to HR and compensation-related projects.
- Ensures guidelines are followed properly through various auditing. Follows up on issues that arise.
- Remains current on federal, state, and local laws pertaining to human resources, policies, and compensation.
- Gathers data and conducts research to gather information as needed.
- Identifies opportunities for compensation process efficiencies and communicates observations to management for change.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Basic knowledge of SAP reporting and transactional applications preferred.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications - Bachelor's degree and prior compensation-related experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education required.
- Minimum of 18 years of age required.
- Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy.
- Must obtain Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) certification through Company LEARN program within 2 weeks of starting in role.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification preferred.
- Knowledge of Partner Central preferred but not required.
