Role Overview:Our client, a leading provider of transportation services, is seeking a Compensation and Retirement Plan Manager to oversee the administration and compliance of U.S. retirement plans. This role will be based in their Boston office with a hybrid schedule requiring at least three days per week on-site.
Compensation: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00Location: Boston, Massachusetts (Hybrid)
Responsibilities of the Compensation and Retirement Plan Manager include:
Manage end-to-end operations of our client's U.S. retirement plans (80% of role)Partner with plan administrators to ensure accurate contributions, distributions, plan amendments, and regulatory complianceExecute nondiscrimination testing, 5500 filings, and annual auditsServe as liaison between participants, beneficiaries, consultants, and administratorsDesign and implement participant education materials and meetingsEvaluate plan investment options and recommend design changesAssist with the implementation and communication of the Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation planOversee annual compensation review process and maintain salary/job grading framework (20% of role)Advise on ad hoc salary benchmarking and review internal equityRun monthly audits to ensure system accuracy and sync with PayrollImplement new Union 401k and pension plans for new contractsPrepare mandatory reporting and monitor participant data/metricsQualifications of the Compensation and Retirement Plan Manager include:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, HR or a related field5+ years of experience in retirement plan administration and analysisStrong knowledge of defined contribution, defined benefit, and multi-employer plansExperience with 5500s, nondiscrimination testing, audits, and plan documentsFamiliarity with implementing new retirement plans highly desiredAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)Experience with UKG and PeopleStrategy Workforce a plusExceptional communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilitiesHighly organized with keen attention to detailAbility to perform complex calculations and analysisCommitment to maintaining strict confidentiality#J-18808-Ljbffr
