Non-profit organization in NYC is seeking a Compensation & Benefits Manager to join their firm on a contract basis for at least 6 months. Seeking a candidate with a background in compensation and benefits, with excellent customer service skills.
Hybrid schedule: 4 days per week in the office, 1 day remote
Pay rate: $40 - 50/hr
Hours: 9am - 6pm
Responsibilities:
- Implementation and management of compensation programs and strategies
- Work closely with stakeholders to create compensation and benefits packages
- Conduct market research and analyze market data
- Manage administration of benefits programs while ensuring compliance
- Develop and run reports; analyze data for management and HR consumption
- Coordinate with outside vendors and benefit providers
- Help with the coordination of resolution for any benefit and compensation related issues
- Maintain and create records, reports, and documentation in accordance with federal, state, and provider regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of hands-on benefits and compensation experience
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and written communication skills
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Experience with HRIS Systems and a quick learner of new databases
- Be a team player and comfortable working independently, as well
