Compliance Administrator - Immediate Care Walk-In Management : Job Details

Reports to: Director of Operations Summary: The Quality Control and Compliance Administrator ensures that the organization is continually monitoring operations in the areas of HIPAA, insurance coverage, quality control, contract review and cybersecurity. The administrator will review all policies in these areas and work with the operations team to update and refine them. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Act as the organizations HIPAA privacy and security officer, responding to any issues that may come up. These may include medical or litigation record requests, patient form compliance, or HIPAA violation issues. Further the companys cybersecurity efforts, as they pertain to an Urgent Care environment. Work with third party brokers to ensure the company is adequately covered for liability with various insurance policies. These include General Liability, Employment Practices Liability, and Medical Malpractice. Respond to record or certificate of insurance requests from outside parties, and assist operations with medical records requests. Review and approve various contracts with supply vendors, equipment vendors, third party partners, and various employees. Work with Chief Medical Officer and Director of Operations to implement and oversee quality controls pertaining to patient care, as well as patient and employee safety Revise/create company policies Perform site visits to ensure centers are meeting all requirements Perform fire drills and assist with mock codes Requirements Preferred Experience: Bachelors Degree in Business, Business Administration, Finance or related field. RN license - 2 years of experience as a RN Relevant experience in a hospital or urgent care setting Knowledge of HIPAA Knowledge of cybersecurity, as it pertains to HIPAA and medical settings. Experience in contract review.
