As an Entry-Level Compliance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our compliance projects and initiatives. Working under the guidance of experienced compliance consultants, you will assist in reviewing, analyzing, and ensuring adherence to federal consumer protection laws and regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in the compliance field and contribute to meaningful projects within the financial and mortgage industries.
This is a full-time contract role that will last at least 6 months and may be extended. Formal Training is offered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Compliance Reviews: Support the team in evaluating policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret data related to compliance issues and prepare reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
- Documentation: Review and maintain documentation to ensure it meets regulatory requirements and internal standards.
- Research: Stay updated on changes in federal regulations and industry best practices to assist in compliance assessments.
- Communication: Collaborate with team members and clients to address compliance-related questions and provide support as needed.
- Project Support: Assist in the execution of compliance projects, including data collection, report preparation, and follow-up activities.
Qualifications:
- Education: Recent college graduate with a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic data analysis tools.
- Learning Orientation: Eagerness to learn and grow within the compliance field, with a proactive attitude toward professional development.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
-GPA 3.2 or higher
- Internship Experience: Previous internship or work experience related to compliance, finance, or law is a plus.
- Knowledge of Regulations: Basic understanding of federal consumer protection laws and regulations is advantageous.
