Senior Compliance Analyst - Complaints & Regulatory Inquiries Dallas, TX, United States (Hybrid) JOB DESCRIPTION Cetera Financial Group is seeking a Sr. Compliance Analyst focused on Regulatory and Client Response. This is a unique opportunity to support the network of Cetera Financial Group broker/dealers and registered investment advisers with regulatory and customer complaint matters. This is a hybrid role (2 days weekly in office). Candidates must be located near an office hub: Dallas, TX | Des Moines, IA | St Cloud, MN | St Paul, MN | Schaumburg, IL | El Segundo, CA | San Diego, CA What you will do: Receive, process, investigate, and respond to customer complaints and other allegations of potentially inappropriate activities by the firm's associated Registered Representatives and Investment Advisor Representatives. Correspond with various regulatory agencies to receive, process, investigate, and respond to regulatory inquiries. This may include the SEC, FINRA and/or state regulatory agencies. Gather and analyze relevant data, inspect activity, and review documentation as necessary to determine resolutions to customer complaints and generation of responses to regulatory inquiries. Research and analyze relevant regulations, information, and resources to ensure firm policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations are followed. Recognize and communicate potential concerns and important issues to managers and the team. Provide customer service and advice to OSJ Managers, Regional Directors, Registered Representatives, and others as necessary. Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization. What you need to have: 5+ years of financial services experience, preferably with an independent broker-dealer Bachelor's degree FINRA Registrations Series 7 and Series 24 or Juris Doctorate and securities litigation experience. Possess an analytical mindset with exceptional business writing and verbal communication skills. Thrive in team-based environments while demonstrating the ability to lead and drive issues to resolution. Detail-oriented and committed to delivering exceptional customer service. What is nice to have: 5+ years of experience working with customers' complaints and regulatory responses, or service as a designated supervisor. 5+ years of regulatory affairs experience Data analysis experience Compensation: The base annual salary range for this role is $70,000 to $95,000, plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Base annual salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.
