The Compliance and Policy Management coordinator provides staff education, ongoing monitoring of changes with corporate compliance requirements and routine management of the electronic policy management program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Plans, directs and coordinates the Compliance Program to minimize risk, provide ongoing education for staff.
* Monitors for compliance management issues, conducts analysis when necessary, and assists staff with investigation of compliance issues.
* Assists with oversight of the Compliance program, the written compliance plan and annual evaluation of the plan's effectiveness
* Ensures that all required elements of a compliance program are addressed.
* Supports and coordinates the policy management program
* Ensures that confidentiality is provided by the Policy Management and Compliance Program.
* Develops policies and procedures to establish guidelines for the organization, based on program management guidelines
* Performs other duties as assigned.
* Associate degree in healthcare management, public health, business management or related field Bachelors degree preferred
* Clinical healthcare experience preferred
* BLS certification
