The Compliance Assistant reports to the Supervisor, A/ P Accounting & Compliance. The main responsibilities of this position include: Reviewing employee reimbursements and certain vendor payment requests to assure compliance with University policies and various IRS rules related to substantiation requirements, Accountable Plans, foreign payee tax withholding, and independent contractor versus employee classifications.
