The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidates knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program. Job Description Cox Enterprises is hiring an experienced Ethics and Compliance Manager with a strong background in compliance, data analysis, and investigations to join our team. This role will focus on analyzing data from our compliance systems and other related systems to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies, conducting investigative research, and recommending fraud detection controls. This role will provide data-driven insights driven by reporting that will support decision-making and address complex organizational risks. Position Responsibilities & Required Skill Set Support investigations into ethics, fraud, compliance issues, or other reported concerns. Analyze large data sets from multiple sources to identify trends, correlations, and patterns that may need further review or investigation. Utilize a variety of dashboard reports and visualizations to generate insights and communicate findings to stakeholders and senior management. Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-divisional teams to support investigations, analysis, and projects. Assist the Senior Director in preparing periodic reports, such as Disclosure and Audit Committee reports, and provide additional data analysis based on feedback from the committee members. Function as lead system administrator of Ethics Point (Navex) reporting system. Triage and manage the investigative processes, ensuring appropriate triage of matters and timely completion of thorough investigations. Troubleshoot user difficulties, provision access, and work with technology teams and Navex for a smooth user experience. Lead evolving tableau dashboard and reporting initiative and work cross-functionally with technical teams to develop reporting enhancements and ensure data integrity. Assist the Senior Director with gathering and analyzing data required for internal investigations while demonstrating consistent sound judgment and discretion in all matters. Provide investigation support, such as drafting investigative reports and providing interview assistance. Responsible for checking the ethics email inbox, triggering the messages to the appropriate compliance team member, and opening cases in the hotline case management system for any ethics concerns that come through the mailbox. Investigate complex issues, including fraud, data anomalies, or operational inefficiencies. Handle confidential information responsibly. Perform special projects and other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum Bachelors degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, with 6 years of relevant experience; or a masters degree with 4 years; or a Ph.D. with 1 year of experience in a related field. 3-7 years of relevant experience in compliance, investigations, audit, or internal controls with demonstrated expertise in data analysis, fraud detection, mitigation, or risk management preferred. Superior skills in Excel and PowerPoint, and overall, a technologically savvy skillset is a must. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau and Power BI) is a significant plus. Experience with a hotline reporting system such as Navex - Ethics Point is a significant plus. Strong attention to detail, proven analytical and problem-solving skills, and demonstrated ability to see the big picture while executing the appropriate information. Must possess sound judgment and a high degree of professional ethics and integrity. Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Ability to demonstrate personal credibility and trustworthiness Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, time management, project management, and follow-up. A self-directed team player with a proactive nature and a can-do attitude. Remains calm and cool-headed under pressure.
