For more information visit www.marex.com Purpose of Role: The Compliance Officer will manage the Independent Introducing Broker (IB's) and Guaranteed Introducing Broker (GIB's) program at Marex. The individual will be the key contact for over 35 GIBs that are customers of Marex. Customer Service as well as compliance will be important skills for this role. You will need to be ensuring that the GIBs are in compliance and at the same time delivering the information in a customer friendly manner. The role will assist in enhancing the existing GIB Program. In addition, registration of the GIBs as well as APs will be part of the role. The position will report into the FCM compliance team with a line into registration within Central Compliance. Compliance and Compliance Officers play a crucial role in ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with the law. Compliance Officers monitor transactions, conduct regular audits, train employees on regulatory requirements, and implement policies and procedures to minimize non-compliance risks. Compliance efforts are instrumental in fostering a compliant culture within Marex and ensuring that all employees understand their responsibilities. Furthermore, Compliance is a bridge between Marex and regulatory authorities. Compliance is responsible for responding to inquiries, providing necessary documentation, and cooperating with regulatory examinations and investigations. This collaboration is essential in maintaining a healthy and transparent relationship between Marex and regulatory bodies. Responsibilities: Manage the Guaranteed Introducing Broker and Introducing Broker Program. Assist with maintaining the Program by streamlining processes and identify areas of improvement Support and manage the GIB and IB relationships. Create and maintain database for management of the GIB/IB Program. Approve Marex Promotional Material. Assist with Annual Audits of the GIBs and IBs. (This may lead to conducting some or all of the annual audits. Provide support to Supervisors of the GIBs. Assist with regulatory responses that pertain to the GIB and IBs to ensure responsive and complete. Assist Central Compliance with GIB and AP registrations. Ensure compliance with the company's regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges. Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.
