Job Description :

The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services' (Iowa HHS) Division of Compliance, Bureau of Compliance Deputy is seeking a Compliance Operations Specialist (Management Analyst 3).

Summary:

This position is responsible for initiating, overseeing, implementing, and managing projects intended to maintain and improve operations within the Division of Compliance. This position is required to report in-person at the Lucas Building at least four days per week.

Responsibilities:

* Develop, collect, track, monitor, and analyze operational plan and performance measures within the Division of Compliance.

* Identify needs for operational improvement within the Division of Compliance based on performance measures. Research strategies for addressing operations and provide recommendations to Division of Compliance leadership.

* Develop processes, policies, procedures, and visual resources to address operational needs.

* Assist with budget tracking within the Division of Compliance.

* Initiate, oversee, implement, and manage projects intended to maintain and improve operations within the Division of Compliance.

* Develop and distribute status reports to inform leadership, key team members, and applicable stakeholders of project status.

* Develop and manage contracts that impact the entire Department and those related to the Division of Compliance.

Applicants must meet at least one of the following minimum requirements to qualify for positions in this job classification:

* Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in any field, and experience equal to three years of full-time work in project management; management analysis; data science; business systems analysis; or professional-level program administration, development, or operations.

* All of the following (a and b):

* Three years of full-time work experience in project management; management analysis; data science; business systems analysis; or professional-level program administration, development, or operations; and

* A total of four years of education and/or full-time experience (as described in part a), where thirty semester hours of accredited college or university coursework in any field equals one year of full-time experience.

* All of the following (a, b, and c):

* One year of full-time work experience in project management; management analysis; data science; business systems analysis; or professional-level program administration, development, or operations; and

* A total of four years of education and/or full-time experience (as described in part a), where thirty semester hours of accredited college or university coursework in any field equals one year of full-time experience; and

* A total of two years of graduate-level education and/or full-time experience (as described in part a), where twenty-four semester hours of accredited graduate college or university coursework in business administration, industrial management, statistics, natural science, or a closely-related field equals one year of full-time experience.

* Current, continuous experience in the state executive branch that includes six months of full-time work as a Management Analyst 2 or two and a half years as a Management Analyst 1.
