Compliance Sr. Engineer - Honda : Job Details

Senior Certification Engineer is responsible for overseeing on-time approvals/certificates for AUTOMOTIVE products from Government Agencies (EPA, CARB, etc.). This includes coordinating certification activities with other Honda groups, coordinating and negotiation at various levels in the company, completing key fleet compliance government reports on-time, representing Honda at external associations, minimizing certification compliance risks and supporting all Honda activities relating to emissions automobile certification regulations. Key Accountabilities Lead, oversee and approve technical certification plan and application documentation for submittal to government agencies to get required government approvals for automotive products on schedule. Lead the coordination of resolution questions promptly while accurately keeping internal stakeholders and Japan team members apprised of the government approval status.
