Job Opportunity: Value Engineering Lead/ManagerLocation: Raleigh, NCWork Type: OnsiteContract Duration: 6+ Months (with potential for extension)Are you passionate about driving cost-saving initiatives and improving product performance? We are seeking a Value Engineering Lead/Manager with an aerospace background to join our team in Raleigh, NC.In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement value engineering projects, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and drive continuous improvement in product quality, efficiency, and performance.Key Responsibilities:Drive cost-saving initiatives through value engineering analysis.Analyze component performance and recommend improvements.Investigate and optimize the cost of current production BOMs.Mitigate EOL requests by identifying alternate materials.Push value engineering opportunities through ECN and Keysheet updates.Coordinate and follow up on required VE/CE technical testing.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, or a related field.8+ years of experience in value engineering or component analysis.Proficiency with TeamCenter Product Life Management tools.Desired Skills:Experience with electricity metering products, battery-powered devices, low power designs, and AMR/AMI systems is a plus.This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your expertise to a dynamic team and make a tangible impact.
