The University of Chicago's Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science (OVS) is searching for full-time Assistant Professors. Appointees will provide patient care in the area of comprehensive ophthalmology. Cataract surgery will comprise an important component of this role. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications.
Appointees will join a vibrant and distinguished community of faculty, colleagues, and learners at UChicago Medicine, the Biological Sciences Division, the Pritzker School of Medicine, the University of Chicago and its affiliates.

We especially welcome individuals with experience performing minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. Applicants that have completed a glaucoma fellowship or an anterior segment fellowship with significant glaucoma exposure or demonstrate comparable clinical experience in comprehensive ophthalmology are preferred.
