Compression OperatorJob Information:Full time, temp-to-hireMonday - Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PMPaying $25 - $28 per hour depending on previous Compression or Tablet Press Machine Operation experience. Medical, Vision, DentalFast-growing company!Call Chad at 732-###-#### for details!M1#Compression Operator Responsibilities:Assist with the setting-up and operating of compression machinery used to manufacture over-the-counter medication, vitamins and other related tabulated products.Ensures proper ingredients, additives and materials are on-hand and accurately weighed, measured and mixed according to set guidelines and recipe sheets.Follows strict Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP's) and completed accurate documentation throughout the shift.Preforms in-run quality checks to ensure product conforms to customer orders: weight, thickness, friability, etc.Adjusts, tweaks and continuously stays connected to Compression Machine throughout production runs to keep production down-time to a minimum.Cleans machinery between runs, including work station and accompanying rooms as needed.Occasionally uses forklift.Assists with packaging as needed and supports other areas all the time - we are small and wear many hats.Compression Operator Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent is required, posted high school coursework a huge plus!At least three (3) months prior experience operating Compression Machinery or Tablet Press machinery, preferably from another FDA regulated or ISO-9001 certified manufacturing facility.Must be able to preform basic math calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and basic division accurately.Must be able to speak, read and write fluent English.
