As an Applications/CFD Solutions Engineer, you will play a key role in providing technical expertise and support to our Sales Team. This position involves close collaboration with the Solutions Team, Sales Team, and clients to identify filtration requirements and design custom air filtration systems tailored to those needs. Leveraging industry best practices and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software will be integral to your success in this role.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a team-oriented environment and possesses strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. The preferred candidate will have a solid understanding of ACGIH recommended practices, experience in designing air filtration systems, and familiarity with estimating. Additionally, a foundational knowledge of CAD design standards and CFD principles is highly desirable.

Essential Job Responsibilities
· Participate in Application Team Meetings to review Applications Log, review new requests, and collaborate on solutions.
· Create filtration solutions for assigned projects.
· Coordinate with Inside Sales and Solutions Sales Directors to obtain missing project information.
· Participate in customer meetings as requested.
· Work on assigned project estimates using pre-existing excel based estimation model.
· Visit job sites and collect data.
· Use design software to produce 3D designs, detail will depend on the complexity of the project.
· Be able to work within other Autodesk programs including the Vault (for file management), AutoCAD (for 2D drawings), Revit (for managing customer files), CFD (of analysis).
Background
· Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering preferable
· Experience working in industrial air filtration
· Deep understanding of ACGIH recommended practices
· Advanced knowledge of design software, such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Solidworks, 3DS Max.
· Ability to stay up-to-date on evolving trends in Industrial Ventilation and a willingness to learn.
· Attention to detail, teamwork abilities, communication skills, and organizational skills
· Microsoft Suite knowledge.
· Ability to remain calm and resilient under pressure
· Extremely detail oriented and accurate with quotes and numbers
