Job Title: Machinist and CNC Programmer

Location: Fort Collins, CO

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: 30-40$/hr

We are currently seeking a skilled Machinist/Programmer to join our team and help ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines (multi-axis lathes, and mills) according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Program CNC machines using software such as [Mastercam, SolidCAM, etc.].
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Inspect and measure finished products using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to machine performance, tooling, or programming.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist and CNC Programmer (Minimum [3] years).
  • Proficiency with CNC programming software (e.g., [Mastercam, G-Code, etc.].
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of precision machining and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Experience with manual machining is a plus.
  • Knowledge of machine tooling and setup procedures.
  • Aerospace Background is a Plus+

Education and Certifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • CNC Machining/Programming Certification or Associate's Degree in Manufacturing Technology or a related field (preferred).
