Computer Numerical Control Machinist - Sky Limit Systems : Job Details

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate and maintain computer numerical control (CNC) machinery for precise machining operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts in accordance with technical specifications and blueprints. The CNC Machinist will also monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular maintenance to ensure optimal operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and mills, to fabricate parts according to detailed specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and instructions to ensure accuracy.
• Program and edit CNC machine settings as needed to achieve desired part dimensions and tolerances.
• Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machinery to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machine programming, setup, and operation.
• Proficient with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
