Computer Operator - Peppermill Reno : Job Details

The Computer Operator is responsible for the proactive monitoring and primary level support of the centralized and distributed computer systems. Monitors and controls the operating systems, on-line applications and batch application processing, and all related hardware equipment.

Duties:

* Excellent troubleshooting skills

* Technical problem-solving expertise

* Basic PC and Network hardware/software knowledge

* Technical knowledge of the hardware and software of IBM iSeries computers

* Ability to identify and resolve problems

* LAN Administration and security

* Strong verbal, writing and analytical skills for communication

* Able to interact positively with others.

Qualifications:

* High School graduate. Computer Science Degree or related experience

* Three (3) years of computer related operations

* Excellent troubleshooting skills

* Technical problem solving expertise

* Basic PC and Network hardware/software knowledge

* Technical knowledge of the hardware and software of IBM iSeries computers
