Job Responsibilities

Teaching Responsibilities

* Provide hands-on, Zoom, and/or on-line instruction.

* Classroom management and administrative tasks that may include report, syllabus, and lesson plan development.

* Assess the accomplishment of students on regular basis.

* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.

Instructional Development

* Assist in the development of computer technology curriculum as needed.

* Recommend for approval instructional materials for a course.

* Work with other areas of the college as needed such as tutoring, retention, etc, to help ensure student retention.

Professional Development

* Attend relevant professional meetings.

* Represent the Technical College of the Lowcountry positively in interactions with the community and with professional academic groups at local, state, and national levels.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree with relevant work experience and industry certifications. Experience in curriculum development and teaching database, operating systems, and programming languages is preferred.
