How we look & appear to each guest provides an important impression of our Company. JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for providing assistance and information to hotel Guests for both on-site and off-site activities ensuring a positive Guest experience.

Essential duities to include, but not limited to:

  • Making reservations for dining at Council Oak Restaurant and hotel.
  • Being a Property Liason and assisting guests with directions.
  • Setting up packages for rooms and events (birthdays, weddings, other special arrangements).
  • Arranging limousine services and rental of scooters and wheelchairs.
  • Scheduling reservations for outside events.
  • Demonstrating quality customer service to handle guest issues.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
  • Six (6) months of Front Desk/ Hotel Operations experience
  • Must possess strong communication skills
  • Must have exceptional phone etiquette
  • Must have comprehensive knowledge of local area
  • Must have exceptional guest service skills
  • Must possess savvy computer skills
  • Multi-lingual skills, to include Spanish, preferred but not necessary
  • Solid Knowledge of local areas, attractions and activities desirable

Work Environment:

  • Duties and responsibilities are typically performed on the Hotel Floor in a fast-paced, guest-smoking environment, with constant exposure to general public and excessive noise
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Must be able to work standing for long periods of time
