Concierge to join our Guest Services Team.RESPONSIBILITY PRINCIPLES AND POSITION PURPOSE:The Concierge oversees making reservations for onsite and nearby restaurants, attractions, on-property adventure programming, bike rentals, Lady of the Lake requests, and other requests, as well as general knowledge of Whitefish and the surrounding area.Principal responsibilities and duties include:
- Have a working knowledge of the front office, bell services, transportation, lobby, and pre-arrival concierge services.
- The individual should be instrumental in supporting good public, departmental, and employee relations.
- Schedule Lady of the Lake operations in coordination with captains.
- Maintain knowledge of area activities and events regularly as well as provide the front desk with working knowledge.
- Maintain updated knowledge of assets specific to the company 's needs.
- Welcome visitors and confirm reservations.
- You'll provide excellent customer service and attention to detail.
- Maintain positive, ongoing relationships.
- Maintain high ethical standards and professionalism.
- Multitask and prioritize as necessary to meet customer needs.
- Represent the company with integrity and dedication.
- Answer phone and email inquiries from potential guests in a timely and respectful manner.
- Greet guests and visitors warmly and make them feel welcome and attended to.
- We offer restaurant and activity recommendations and assist guests in arranging transportation and excursions.
- Receive and redirect mail, phone calls, packages, etc.
- Ensure that guest spaces and the lobby are clean and tidy at all times.
- Act as a liaison between guests and any department necessary, including the kitchen, housekeeping, etc.
- Anticipate guests' needs in order to accommodate them and provide an exceptional guest experience.
- Maintain an inventory of supplies and order new stock as needed.
Knowledge, skills, and ability are required for the job.Concierges should possess above-average communication skills. Their attitude, speaking and listening skills will reflect their employers. They must be able to convey information effectively and with care, whether they're offering recommendations on nearby restaurants or trying to solve guest problems. They 'll also need to relay requests from guests to other staff members.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS Experience, licenses, and certificates
- Experience in the hospitality industry is an asset.
- Earn at least a high school diploma. Concierge jobs generally do not require a college degree. The minimum requirement for most positions is a high school diploma.
- Experience your community like a tourist would. To offer your guests honest advice, you will need to know about all the amenities and services your local area offers.
- Find work within the hospitality or tourism sector. If you do not have any experience in tourism, you may want to find a part-time job in other service sectors.
Schedule/Holidays/PTOThis position requires regular, reliable, and punctual attendance. They are expected to usually keep a 5-day-a-week schedule but adjust as needed according to business needs; for example, a 6-day week may be required during peak business periods. A workweek of up to 50 hours per week can be expected. However, it can be more or less, depending on business needs. Working evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required. Holidays and PTO are in accordance with the AH Exempt Employee policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook.NOTICE:Standing, bending, stooping, and lifting weights up to and including 50 lbs. may be required. The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four hours a day. In addition, this is a hospitality business, and a hospitable service atmosphere must be always projected.
