MAU is hiring a Concrete Estimator for Landmark Construction in Charleston, SC. As a Concrete Estimator, you will manage the estimation and bidding process for concrete construction projects by analyzing RFPs, preparing accurate takeoffs and cost estimates, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, submitting and tracking proposals, supporting project teams, and building strong client relationships. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Shift Information:
- Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in structural concrete estimating within commercial and industrial markets
General Requirements:
- Proficient in construction estimating software, including Bluebeam, HCSS HeavyBid, and PlanSwift
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and SharePoint
- Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software or Tekla is a plus but not required
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with a commitment to clarity and professionalism
- High attention to detail and dedication to accuracy
- Energetic, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a team environment
- Proven ability to collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with clients
Essential Functions:
- Review Requests for Proposals (RFPs) received from clients
- Prepare detailed and accurate takeoffs for various concrete construction projects
- Analyze project documents to assess risks, material requirements, and labor needs
- Solicit and evaluate bid information from vendors and subcontractors as required
- Develop precise cost estimates and technical bid proposals
- Submit, track, and follow up on bid proposals to ensure timely responses
- Provide technical support to project teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and collaboration
