The Concrete Foreman is responsible for leading concrete crews and assisting Concrete Superintendent with flow and coordination of all concrete materials, accessories, and installations. Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Field Leadership and subcontractors to understand daily construction activities and assignments, in order to lead crew to execute construction goals throughout projects. Lead and provide direction to onsite concrete crews, while training and mentoring. Perform concrete layout activities. Establish elevations from given benchmarks to provide top of wall, top of column, top of slab, and top of shoring. Motivate workers to achieve desirable production rates. Review and interpret blueprints/shop drawings and other project documents with the project team to formulate an approach and execute installation. Set the standard for quality of work. Communicate and monitor work performed to ensure proper assembly and installation. Utilize effective and proper communication with crew. Provide feedback for field employee reviews. Enforces company policies and procedures. Lead by example, understand and enforce Stevens' safety standards. Perform any other duties as assigned. Requirements: Minimum 5 years' experience in a Concrete Foreman or Superintendent role Commercial construction experience Proven ability to review and interpret blueprints/shop drawings. Proven track of strong attendance, positive attitude, and willingness to learn. Proven ability to perform at a high level under strict deadlines. Proven ability to communicate effectively with field leaders and crew. Understands timelines given and deadlines. Proven ability to multi-task and stay organized. Ability to take direction and delegate duties. Prioritize multiple tasks to meet given deadlines.
