Job SummaryUnder supervision of the Director of Human Resources, perform a variety of technical and complex human resources duties and provide assistance to current and prospective personnel; assist in the recruitment, examination, and interviewing activities of new personnel; prepare and maintain a variety of related personnel records and reports; perform a variety of clerical duties related to the human resources function.Requirements / QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS •A minimum of four (4) years of increasingly responsible human resources administrative experience; •High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an AA/AS degree in Business, Accounting, Personnel Management or other related field. Education may be waived with at least five (5) years specific human resources, personnel, or business services experience; •Proficiency in Microsoft products and Google Suite; •Experience with schools highly desirable; •Meet the physical requirements necessary to perform assigned duties safely and effectively, including lifting twenty-five (25) pounds on an occasional basis and in excess of twenty-five (25) pounds with assistance. BENEFITS Employees are provided with an insurance plan, which includes health, vision, and dental insurance for employee, spouse, and dependents, at a shared cost. Participation in this plan is mandatory for employees working 35 plus hours a week. Employee will be a member of the Public Employees' Retirement System (PERS) to which both the employee and MCOE contribute. MCOE does not participate in the Social Security system.
