Configuration Analyst (ServiceNow) - The Judge Group : Job Details

This role involves reconfiguring approximately 700 applications and onboarding a newly developed internal system to this new model, including adding new applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive services experience and a deep understanding of aligning with the CMDB, capable of explaining the process to business stakeholders.

This is a contract opportunity that is hybrid to downtown Chicago.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the strategy, planning, design, implementation, management and performance of Configuration Management solutions that will effectively and efficiently support the strategic objectives and operational needs.
• Work with technical stakeholders to define configuration items and classes, their attributes, and data collection.
• Ensure timely population into the correct ServiceNow tables to support ITSM modules and business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with ServiceNow
• Understanding capabilities, business applications, services, products, software packages, and their functionality in the ITIL model
• Comprehension of and the ability to communicate and implement the ITIL CMDB model
• Comprehension of the ServiceNow CSDM model
• Operational experience creating and managing CIs in the ServiceNow CMDB and AMDB
