Job Title: Construction Assistant Project Manager - Transportation

Location: Atlanta, GA

Salary: $95,000 to $120,000 + bonus + additional benefits + relocation assistance if needed.

Irving Knight are partnered with a leading transportation general contractor recognised for their superstructures across the United States. We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager/ Project Engineer with previous transportation construction experience to join a large-scale transportation project in Atlanta, GA!

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and scheduling of construction projects to ensure they are completed within specified timelines. Coordinate all project phases, from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment between teams and stakeholders to optimize resource utilization and achieve project milestones.
• Oversee all aspects of safety and quality standards on-site, implementing procedures to create a safe work environment and maintain strict compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Develop and manage project budgets, maintaining accuracy in financial forecasting to control costs effectively
• Directly manage Project Engineers.
• Responsible for handling change orders efficiently, documenting and managing any adjustments to project scope, timeline, or cost.

Must have:

• 4+ years working on transportation projects.
• Ideally have project management experience on transportation projects, open to considering Project Engineers.
• Bachelors degree preferred
