Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Construction Contract Manager to oversee large-scale renewable energy projects, particularly those 80 MW and larger in scale. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the field and a proven track record of successfully managing complex construction contracts in the renewable energy sector. General Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of supply chain and construction contracts for large-scale renewable energy projects (80 MW+) (Module Supply Agreements, Engineering Procurement and Construction, Battery Supply, Subcontracts)
  • Manage RFIs, RFQs and RFPs for suppliers and contractors to be selected for renewable energy projects
  • Develop, negotiate, and administer contracts with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Closely coordinate with Legal (internal and external) for contract language
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms, conditions, and specifications
  • Manage amendments, version control, exhibits to contracts, change orders, claims, and dispute resolution processes
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Monitor project progress and report on contract performance
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential contractual issues
  • Maintain accurate contract documentation and records through document management system
Skill & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of construction law, contract administration, and industry standards
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in supply chain and construction contract management, with a focus on renewable energy projects
  • Proven experience managing contracts for renewable energy projects 80 MW or larger in scale
  • Familiarity with international contracting standards and practices in the renewable energy sector
  • Experience with various contract types (e.g., EPC, EPCM, MSA, BSA, CMA, Design-Build)
  • Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and industry trends
  • Familiarity with requirements of project finance parties for construction contracts in large-scale renewable energy projects
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks governing renewable energy development in relevant markets
