Construction Coordinator

Looking to advance your career? Take your skills to the next level with us! R.M. Chin & Associates, Inc. (CHIN) is seeking a talented Construction Coordinator. Monitors and documents individual activities performed by the contractor to monitor compliance with specifications, plans, and other contract provisions. Works closely with experienced engineers/CM on various field projects to develop field experience in techniques, approaches, and procedures and the nature of engineering systems, equipment, etc.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Construction Manager and Project Manager.
• Auditing applications for payment.
• Quality Control.
• Reviewing submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, project related correspondence, and daily inspection reports.
• Assist with document control.
• Tracking and documenting non-conforming work.
• Helping process change orders, claims, and revisions to schedules and budgets.
• Project closeout.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in a related construction, engineering, or technical discipline, or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass security clearance requirements and background check.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
