Construction Engineer - Stantec : Job Details

This on-site Civil Engineer position will support the Director of Public Works at West Point to manage and oversee multiple new construction and renovation projects occurring at the West Point campus over the next 5 -years. Primary duties will include providing design and specification reviews during the Design phases and working with contractors and Designers to address recurring issues during construction. - - Your Key Responsibilities - - Perform design reviews for the Civil Engineering aspects of new construction and renovation projects (grading, drainage, parking lots, water, sewer, horizontal control, signage & striping plans, etc.) Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3 D and provide markups for other engineers and contractors Review DOD UFCs (Unified Building Codes) Specification Packages Prepare written correspondence with internal organizations, clients, contractors, etc. Track project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule Provide recurring presentations (briefings) on Project status Overs...Construction, Engineer, Civil Engineer, General Contractor, Operations, Manufacturing, Contractor
