Construction Estimating Assistant - ATS Drilling : Job Details

Company Overview:

ATS Drilling, Inc. is a construction company located in Fort Worth, Texas performing caisson and foundation drilling services. Our 150-200 employees serve the highway, commercial, and marine construction industries and our customers include government entities and many of the largest general contractors in the United States.

The Assistant Estimator will play a key role in supporting our estimating team with project bids and cost estimations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Microsoft Excel, excellent communication skills, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their career in the construction industry.

Position Overview:

• Assist the Estimator in preparing detailed cost estimates for projects.
• Analyze project specifications and other documents to accurately calculate quantities and costs.
• Prepare and maintain spreadsheets
• Collaborate with vendors to obtain and evaluate pricing information.
• Maintain accurate records of all estimates, bids, and other relevant documentation.

Qualifications:

• Position will be in Fort Worth, Texas
• High School Diploma required
• Previous experience in estimating or a related field is a plus, but not required.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in the construction sector is a plus, but not a requirement
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
