Construction Estimator - Smith Arnold Partners : Job Details

A leader among commercial contractors nationwide. From local municipalities to large Federal clients, they have built some of the most visible architectural landmarks in the country.

Position: Estimator

Location: Nassau County, NY

Salary: $140,000 to $180,000

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for Municipal and commercial construction projects.
• Work on both large and small project budgets and bids.
• Collaborate effectively with management, superintendents, and senior project managers to ensure project success.
• Oversee the estimating department, and train/develop direct reports

Qualifications:

• 7-20 years of commercial estimating experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in a Construction-related field (preferred but not required).
• Proficiency with takeoff software such as BlueBeam, OnScreen, and Planswift.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Project, Word, and Excel.
• Willingness to be in-office on Long Island.
