Construction Estimator - Smith Arnold Partners : Job Details

When our company was created, our founder aimed to assist small minority-owned contractors by offering business management and administrative support. Position: Chief Estimator

Location: Wallingford, CT

Salary: $105,000 to $135,000

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for Municipal and commercial construction projects.
• Work on both large and small project budgets and bids.
• Collaborate effectively with management, superintendents, and senior project managers to ensure project success.
• Oversee the estimating department, and train/develop direct reports

Qualifications:

• 7-20 years of commercial estimating experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in a Construction-related field (preferred but not required).
• Proficiency with takeoff software such as BlueBeam, OnScreen, and Planswift.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Project, Word, and Excel.
• Willingness to be in-office in Wallingford and be able to travel throughout CT to complete walk-throughs
