$170,000.00/yr - $240,000.00/yr

About the company

My client is a Heavy Civils firm with a brilliant reputation within the market, a heavy Civils with a great senior management team, and a strong order book. They've been operating for nearly 40 years and focus on infrastructure work, underground utilities, landfill closures, excavation support systems, deep foundations, directional drilling, and demolition work. They self-perform their concrete works, SOE, excavations, piling, and demolition. The size of the projects they work on can range anywhere in value between $10M - $80M.

About the opportunity

My client is looking for an Estimator to join their team due to ongoing enquiries. They're looking for an Estimator who has the capabilities of managing a pricing heavy civils projects ranging from $1M - $800M. The bids you will be working on will involve subcontract packages as well as self-delivering scope of work such as concrete, piling, excavations.

About the role

• Document constructability concerns, questions, drawing discrepancies + chase answers and corrections.
• Request, receive, compare and level multiple bids for each project trade.
• Communicate with Operations team management to fully describe and hand off completed estimating packages.
• Help to evaluate bid opportunities.
• Attend pre-bid meetings or walk-throughs as necessary.

Requirements

I am looking for someone who has between 5-20 years of experience working as an Estimator in the heavy civil market. You must have a Bachelor of Science in a construction-related field and good stability on your resume.
