Construction Estimator | Multifamily Residential - Henderson Scott US : Job Details

Leading NYC Self Preforming Developer looking for a Construction Estimator | Multifamily Residential who will be responsible for the preparation of detailed estimates based on construction drawings and specifications. The Construction Estimator | Multifamily Residential will communicate bids and scopes of work to supervisors. Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of complete quantity take-offs, analysis, estimate, and studies for all items incorporated in the assigned scope.
• Performing a constructability analysis through the identification of design and constructability issues.
• Developing a value analysis by defining alternatives to the proposed scope that are more cost-efficient.
• Liaison with subcontractors, design team (architects, engineers, consultants), and client.

Additional responsibilities include preparing detailed estimates of entire scope of assigned trades, building system, and/or overall project cost during different phases of design such as Concept Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents. The Construction Estimator | Multifamily Residential will analyze existing site conditions and all contract documents to determine any required scope that is not indicated. They will prepare scope requisitions for assigned trades; coordinate with fellow estimators to eliminate scope gaps and overlaps. Qualifications & Requirements:

• 5-10 years construction estimating experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field required.
• Experience utilizing estimating software such as On Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, Autodesk, etc. required.

Estimated Salary: $120k-$165k a year
