ResponsibilitiesBrasfield & Gorrie is currently accepting applications for a Construction Flagger. Below are the main responsibilities for this position.(This description may not include all duties required of this position)* work as part of a traffic control crew, moving and maintaining traffic control devices and flagging traffic through and around a commercial construction job site* follow safety rules and regulations on all work zone and flagging sites, including placing signs, barricades, traffic cones and other warning devices* directing movement of traffic through site, using sign, hand and flag signalsEducation - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience* NCCER Flagger certification strongly preferred* Construction flagger experience preferred* May operate a variety of hand tools as well as some equipment* Typical work conditions are in an outside environment with potential inclement weather* Must have the ability and be willing to work a 8-12 hour day/shift* Must be able and willing to walk, stoop and stand for long periods of time* Must adhere to safety protocol and work in a drug free environmentEOE/Vets/Disabilities
