Construction Laborer - Weber Homes : Job Details

Bill Weber Jr. Homes is a well-known homebuilder in the Dane county area with a reputation for delivering quality homes on time. We are looking for someone who has high attention to detail, can multi-task, and has great communication skills. This position is responsible for various different aspects of the homebuilding process. This is a field position and the employee would be doing various tasks at different stages of construction. On a daily basis, this position works with sub-contractors and upper management. This position would report to the project manager.Compensation: $25+ (Based on experience) + Full Benefits/401k and Annual Bonus ProgramQualifications:Transportation to and from jobsites throughout Dane CountyAbility to follow Bill Weber Jr. Homes processesThe ability to complete tasks and maintain attention to detail.Ability to lift 50 poundsResponsibilities:Manage and deliver all aspects of Home BuildingA workweek consists of 40 hours: Monday - Thursday 7:00am-4:30pm and Friday 7:00am - 11:00am. Rarely do we require employees to go over 40 hours, but sometimes it happens.Help ensure the home is complete before homeowner move-inMaintain Bill Weber Jr. Homes' great relationship with sub-contractorsEnsure a safe work environment at the jobsiteFinalize punch out lists before closing and inspectionsContribute to processes and help Bill Weber Jr. Homes run more efficientlyMaintain positive relationships with sub-contractorsMinimal travel required in the Dane County area; means of transportation is a must.Process drivenBill Weber Jr. Homes management, subs, and employees pride themselves on providing the best quality home possible.
