Job Description :

Piper Maddox has been engaged by an innovative leader in clean fuels who's recently hit a new phase of growth and scale. The company is a world renowned technology developer and service provider for biorefinery scale-up.

The Construction Project Manager will oversee industrial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This role involves managing project execution, coordinating resources, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Monitor and control project execution to ensure adherence to schedule and budget. Develop project budgets and schedules based on specifications.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the main contact for project updates, labor requests, and material needs. Communicate regularly with clients to resolve issues and negotiate scope changes.
  • Resource Allocation: Schedule subcontractor and internal labor, and coordinate with various departments to ensure proper resource allocation.
  • Procurement & Workflow: Manage procurement of tools, equipment, and materials to maintain project workflow. Collaborate with the supply chain team to issue purchase orders.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage the financial aspects of contracts, including fees, invoices, and expenses.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Prepare progress reports, track man-hours, and ensure all work meets specifications, schedules, and safety standards.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • 3-5+ years of project management experience in commercial or industrial construction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project required; experience with AutoCAD and P&IDs preferred.
  • Strong ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Proven track record in managing large construction projects.
  • Experience with major project management software and tools.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with a focus on customer relations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
