Construction Manager - ( 2400042Q ) DescriptionConstruction Manager (Multiple Positions) (Stantec Consulting Services, Inc.; St. Cloud, MN): Plan and coordinate construction project activities. Observe and document the daily work performed by job site contractors. Prepare change orders for projects. Track project quantities installed. Create and review contractor requests for payment. Attend and provide input during pre-construction meetings and weekly project progress meetings. Perform constructability reviews on final plan sets. Review and edit construction project specifications. Review shop drawings and assist project manager with cost estimates.40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.). #GTM #LI-DNI QualificationsRequirements: Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Project Management, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Construction of municipal utilities; Construction of asphalt and concrete roadways; Reading and interpreting construction project plans and specifications; Estimating quantities and performing quantity take-offs; Executing construction surveys; Using Computer-aided design (CAD); and grading and embankment. Travel to various worksites within the U.S. required up to 75%. Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of St. Cloud, MN may be permitted, depending on business need.
