At CSG Talent, we have partnered with a leading construction firm to find an experienced Pre-Construction Manager for their heavy civil market operations. This is a unique opportunity to play a vital role in securing and planning large-scale infrastructure projects while collaborating with industry experts and contributing to a dynamic, growth-oriented team.

As a Pre-Construction Manager, you will oversee the planning and proposal development process for high-value heavy civil construction projects. You'll work closely with design, estimating, and operations teams to deliver winning strategies and ensure project readiness. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the preparation of Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), Proposals, and presentations.
• Developing project approaches and technical responses to align with client requirements.
• Coordinating with design firms and estimating teams to deliver cost-effective and high-quality solutions.
• Preparing construction schedules and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
• Engaging in the development of Alternative Technical Concepts (ATCs) and Technical Working Groups (TWGs).
• Building strong industry relationships and actively participating in trade associations for lead generation and visibility.

• 7-10 years' experience in the heavy civil construction market.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years' experience with CMAR, Design-Build, or Public-Private Partnership projects (preferred).
• Proven track record on $100M+ projects, particularly with State Departments of Transportation (DOT).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Primavera P6 experience is a plus.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.
